K-9 New Life

At K-9 New Life, our mission is to give every dog the second chance they deserve. Based in Southeast Virginia and founded in 1999, we are a no-kill, all-breed rescue dedicated to saving dogs from overcrowded shelters—especially those who are sick, injured, or simply overlooked. Without a physical shelter, we place every dog in a loving foster home, where they receive the care, training, and rehabilitation they need to heal, grow, and thrive.

Our goal is simple: to help less fortunate dogs experience a new life in a forever home. Fueled by the compassion of our fosters, volunteers, and donors, we’ve spent over two decades building a community of hope—one dog at a time.
