Dear Friends at K-9 New Life:

This is Shadow (aka Frieda). I have been with my new family for 19 months and enjoying every minute of it. Mom & Dad didn't feel Frieda fit me so after one day I became Shadow. I love to follow Mom around. I have become best friends with Aunt Cindy's dog, Tiger. I go to work with Mom everyday. Last April, I went on my first road trip to Luray. The mountains were great (I even got my own bed in the hotel)! Unfortunately, I have allergies but it hasn't slowed me down. I have developed a love for camping. Aunt Cindy & Uncle Steve have their camper at Cherrystone on the Eastern Shore. We go up about once a month. I have attached some pictures. The 1st is bedtime for me and Tiger. The 2nd is me after a long walk and the 3rd is of Mom, Dad & me on the beach/bay at Cherrystone. Hardly ever am I left alone or put in a kennel. I stay with Aunt Cindy if Mom & Dad have to go out of town. When Aunt Cindy is gone, Tiger has sleepovers with me. Through rain, snow, or sunshine, Mom & Dad walk me once a day and twice on weekends. I know I haven't been by to visit "the gang" at Petsmart on Sundays. Mom says she will try to bring me by sometime soon.
