It was love at first sight when my husband met Pete at a Petsmart adoption show. Despite the fact that we already owned three cats and two dogs and were fostering another dog, he convinced me that our home would simply not be complete without Pete. It didn't take much convincing... who wouldn't fall in love with this face?!

Most days Pete moves around our home like a tornado, but he's a very gentle and well-behaved little man. We've had Pete for almost 2 years now. We attempted to change his name numerous times, but nothing else stuck.

I cannot imagine a dog like Pete being put down; he has so much personality! Our family is extremely grateful to K-9 New Life for rescuing him from a shelter before his time ran out.
